Guests describe calm, sheltered water that’s ideal for first-timers, guides who share local stories, and wildlife along the marsh. Families often split up, some in kayaks and some on paddleboards. Self-guided rentals launch from the same spot.

Before you book

• Reserve tours ahead. Arrive 30 minutes early in water shoes or strapped sandals; no flip-flops.
• Minimum age is 12 for SUPs and single kayaks. Weight limits apply.
• Cancel at least 24 hours ahead. Bring water and snacks; nothing is sold on site.
• Spring and fall are weekends only, and the site is staffed only when someone has booked.
