Treasure Vacation Rentals is a locally owned property management company serving
Topsail Island, North Carolina, built on 35+ years of experience and a love for the community, its homeowners, and the guests who return here year after year.
Our story began in 1990, when Richard and Tim Baker founded Treasure Realty. Guided by faith in the Lord and a heart for service, Treasure grew into one of Topsail Island’s most trusted vacation rental businesses on Topsail Island. Treasure’s reputation for exceptional service and extraordinary level of care has left a lasting impression on homeowners and guests alike. Families and friends made memories here.
Homeowners placed their confidence in a team that treated their homes with respect and attention. We are honored to carry on that legacy because, while the business moved in a different direction in 2022, the heart behind it never wavered. Our connection to vacation rentals, to this island, and to the people who make it special remains as strong as ever.
Over time, it became clear that this work was never simply part of our history. It is part of who we are.
Treasure Vacation Rentals has been reborn from our belief that homeowners and guests deserve to once again be provided the same familiar level of local expertise, thoughtful service, and a genuine commitment to excellence. With 60 combined years of experience working with vacation property owners on Topsail Island, we are proud to be a part of this community and honored to serve the homeowners and visitors who love this place as much as we do.
Meet Our Leadership
Tyler Adams
While earning his degree at NC State, Tyler joined Treasure Realty in 2011 as a summer inspector in the Vacation Rental department. What started as a seasonal role grew into a long-term career in real estate. By 2016, he had made North Topsail Beach his home, enjoying daily oceanfront sunrises.
Over the years, Tyler advanced into the role of Associate Rental Director at Treasure Realty. He is grateful to have built lasting partnerships with both homeowners and guests while overseeing operations, acquisitions, and client/customer relations. Following the sale of Treasure Realty’s rental division in 2022, he continued serving the Eastern NC market as a Realtor, earning the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Silver Award in 2024 and the Gold Award in 2025.
During that time, Tyler’s family also grew as he welcomed his daughter, Juniper, in 2024 and his son, Forester, in 2026. Today, Tyler brings the same commitment to service and relationships into everything he does. In his free time, you’ll find him at home with his family – preferring nothing more than a day spent in his backyard pool with his three German Shepherds nearby and a game on the TV.

Topsail Island has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up vacationing here, making family memories here, and eventually building much of my career around this island and the people who love it.
My history with Treasure goes back more than two decades. I joined Treasure Realty in 2000, working alongside family as the company grew into one of the most trusted names in Topsail Island vacation rentals. Over those years, I learned the business from the inside: homeowners, guests, operations, seasons, pricing, and the little details that make this market different from anywhere else. Today, my focus is pricing and revenue strategy. I help owners understand how their homes fit into the market, how to compete wisely, and how to make confident decisions based on real data, local knowledge, and experience. Pricing is numbers, but it is also judgment. It takes knowing the island, knowing the homes, and understanding what guests value. I live near Topsail with my wife, Amy, and our five children. This place is personal to me. It is not just a market or a destination; it is where my family has made memories, where I have worked for most of my adult life, and where I still believe the best kind of hospitality is built on trust, care, and local relationships. I am excited to be part of this new chapter with Treasure Vacation Rentals. In a lot of ways, it feels like coming home, but with fresh tools, fresh energy, and a renewed commitment to serving owners and guests well.

Rachel Eyster
Raised on the Eastern Carolina Coast, Rachel understands what draws people to the Greater Topsail Area and has always known that her personal and professional success is because of the Grace of God working through her gifts.
She quickly realized her call to service to offer a full-service vacation rental management to the community she calls home. Beginning as a corporate bookkeeper, she has been with the Treasure Team for over ten years. Rachel found her love of real estate on Saturdays, taking reservations in the rental department and answering phones in the sales department. She quickly found her passion and continued to grow in various roles, wherever she was needed, until ultimately she found herself leading the team. Her attention to detail and commitment to clients and customers shines through her work. Ambitious to the core, Rachel graduated from college, earned her real estate license, and received her MBA from UNC Pembroke within two years. Her yearning to continue learning never ceases, nor does her desire to educate students at her startup, Rising Tides Real Estate Academy, where she offers mandatory continuing education courses. Her deep connection to her work is fed by like-minded colleagues she deeply trusts who share a commitment to treat all around them like family. When she’s not helping people create memories on the coast, she spends time with her family at the beach, frequenting local restaurants, and taking nature walks.
