The beach and the water
Azurelair is the big blue house at 112 Scotch Bonnet Drive, oceanfront with direct beach access. Several oceanfront decks and covered porches give the group places to sit above the sand. The private pool connects with the beach-access side of the property, and like every Treasure pool it is fenced and gated. Pool heat is available for an added fee; ideally request it more than 72 hours ahead of arrival so it is ready when you get there. On the roof, a sun deck and hot tub look out over the Atlantic. A gas grill and an outdoor shower handle dinner and the sand.

Inside the house
The kitchen is set up to cook for a full house, with two refrigerators, two dishwashers, a double oven, a gas cooktop with a pot filler, a microwave, coffee makers, a blender and a toaster. Three dining tables plus bar seating let everyone sit down to the same meal. When the group wants a break from the sun, there is a movie room, a pool table and a wet bar. The house has 15 smart TVs, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, air conditioning and keyless entry. An elevator runs from the ground floor to the top floor.

Where everyone sleeps
Twelve bedrooms sleep up to 30. Each has its own bathroom, a TV and access to a deck or porch.
First floor
Four oceanfront bedrooms, each with a king bed
Two street-side bunk rooms, each with a full-over-full bunk bed
Second floor
Four oceanfront bedrooms, each with a king bed
One street-side bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunk beds
Top floor
One oceanfront bedroom with a king bed, a covered porch and a roll-in shower in its bathroom

Around the island
Azurelair is about 3 miles north of the Surf City high-rise bridge. Restaurants and shops in Surf City and Sneads Ferry are within reach, and so are the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital and the Missiles and More Museum.

Good to know
Linens and bed making are included.
Pets are not allowed, and the house is non-smoking.
Events may be considered with approval before booking, and an event fee applies.
The person renting must be at least 21.
A doorbell camera is on the premises.
Parking is at the house.

Twelve bedrooms with twelve bathrooms of their own, a pool on the beach side and a hot tub on the roof: Azurelair lets 30 people share the ocean without sharing a shower.
