Tide Chateau faces the sound in Surf City, and its best seat is up top. Head to the rooftop deck at the end of the day to watch the sunset, then come back down for the hot tub. The closest public beach access is about a third of a mile away, so a day here can include both the sound and the ocean.

The water and the beach
The house is soundfront, with sound and ocean views and several decks along the water. Each deck gives you another place to take in the view and the breeze off the water, and the rooftop deck sits highest of all. The private hot tub sits overlooking the sound, and it is the place to be as evening arrives. Back from the beach, an enclosed outdoor shower takes care of the sand. Fishing, a golf course and a public boat ramp are all nearby.

Inside and out
Large windows bring natural light and water views into the open living area. The open living area flows into the kitchen, so whoever is cooking at the island stays part of the conversation. The kitchen has quartz countertops, a large island, a dishwasher and a coffee maker. There is also a wet bar, and an elevator moves people, luggage and groceries between levels. Start the morning with coffee on a deck overlooking the sound. A washer and dryer are in the house.

5 STARS! - Our stay at 825 Topsail was wonderful. This is a truly special home. When you enter the home there is an elevator to help bring your groceries and belongings into the dwelling. Stop on the second floor to see the amazing and well appointed bedrooms with ensuites. The hottub off the lower master bedroom was a great place to see the views on the water. The next stop is the third floor where you find the open concept living area and a second Master bedroom. This living space is designed for entertaining, with plenty of dining space, large kitchen island and comfortable furnishings in the living room. There is a great view of the water from this deck as well. Last stop is the upper deck with inside/outside entertaining. We started with morning coffee watching the sunrise and enjoyed the sunsets from the other end of the deck. This house is close to the restaurants and bars around the pier in Surf City, and a short walk to the beautiful beach. We wish we stayed longer. Wonderful vacation spot that is great for hosting family and friends!
