Up to two dogs can come along to Coastal Legacy, with approval. The house splits cleanly by floor: four bedrooms on the top floor, paired north and south around two shared bathrooms, and a first-floor bunk room with two twin-over-full bunk beds.

The beach and the water
Coastal Legacy sits on the oceanfront in North Topsail Beach. A private walkway runs from the house to the beach. Decks and covered porches look out over the Atlantic, and two of the top-floor bedrooms sit on the oceanfront side of the house. After the beach, a cold-water outdoor shower rinses off the sand before anyone heads inside. Fishing, golf and a public boat ramp are all nearby.

Living, kitchen and outdoor spaces
The first floor is open, with the living area, dining space and a fully equipped kitchen sharing one room. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a coffee maker and cooking basics. The house has smart TVs and Wi-Fi. A washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are on hand.

Mornings start on the decks with coffee and the ocean in front of you. The covered porches give the group a shaded place to sit when the afternoon sun is strong.

Where everyone sleeps
Five bedrooms and three full baths sleep 14.

Top floor
North oceanfront bedroom: one king bed
South oceanfront bedroom: one queen bed
North streetside bedroom: one queen bed
South streetside bedroom: one queen bed
The two north bedrooms share a full bath with a tub and shower combination and a double vanity. The two south bedrooms share a full bath with a walk-in shower.

First floor
Bunk room: two twin-over-full bunk beds, sleeping up to six
A full hall bath with a tub and shower combination sits next to the bunk room.

Good to know
Up to two dogs are welcome with approval, and a pet fee applies.
Linens and bed making are included.
None of the bedrooms has its own attached bath; each bath is shared as described above.
The outdoor shower is cold water only.
TVs are streaming only, with no cable service.
The house is non-smoking, events are not permitted, and the person renting must be at least 21.

Coastal Legacy keeps the trip simple: a walkway to the ocean, a cold rinse after the beach, four top-floor bedrooms in matched pairs and room for two dogs.

This property was comfortable and cute. We loved that it was right on the beach. The deck has a cozy side porch that was perfect for snacking hiding from the sun and reading. Good memories were made, and I will most definitely stay here again in the future.
