The cottage was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and had plenty of storage space. The dinner table is huge. There is plenty of sitting space in the living room. This place is unacceptable. Do not rent here. We stayed one year ago and it was great. We came and can’t understand how it has degraded so much in just one year. Plus, the air conditioning was out of commission for half of the house at it was 80+ degrees in half of the bedrooms, so we couldn’t sleep in them. […] […] Besides this…the ice maker leaked and dripped through the floor beneath. The repair guy moved the hose and told me I had to keep an eye on it The outside shower was not usable because only the hot water supply was connected. Too hot to use without burning yourself. The entire place, inside and out, is infested with ants. We bought a bunch of ant traps but they barely made a difference because the problem was so bad. You couldn’t even put your towel near the pool because it got full of ants in just a few minutes. The pool was cloudy and dirty. […] […] Most of the ceiling fans don’t work. The drawers in the refrigerator are broken. I could list a bunch of other issues, but I’m done wasting my time here. Overall, the house is dirty and run down. I’ve been renting summer beach houses for over 20 years and have had so many wonderful experiences. I’ve never had anything like this experience. It was just awful. There are so many good options available. Don’t rent this place. You’ll be sorry.

Renters beware; upon our arrival we found broken glass beside the pool. Thank goodness none of my grandkids stepped on it. They were running barefoot immediately. The weeds around the pool and on the pool patio are a huge eyesore! Really did not enjoy staring at that for the money we paid! The house has ants inside and out. They got in our vehicles and in my son's room majorly! He and his girlfriend had them all in their suitcases after 2 days stay. The room they were in is the first one on the left on second floor (left of elevator). I did give the house 4 stars only because everything else was perfect just want everyone to be on the lookout for these things. The inside was very well equipped and clean. The 2 rooms on the 4th floor are perfect for families with small children who would like them to stay in a room with them.

If you’re looking for the best well stocked kitchen ever, the LazyBeagle is it. We have stayed at a lot of rental homes in 17 years but never had a kitchen that we didn’t have to purchase something for. The dining room table was perfect for our large family. The house was very clean which was a big plus.

The homeowner appears to take great pride in his property. It's the best house we've rented in the last 15 years. No complaints. Loved your house Blake

The house had everything -an abundance of seating, elevator, beach chairs, games, ice maker, pool, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms! We loved it and would like to stay again!

The home is wonderful and very comfortable. I can’t think of anything else they could stock the kitchen with! And…we had a professional chef with us! Very well thought out. The home really feels like someone’s beloved home…not just some investment rental home. All sorts of beach chairs/toys/floats available! For the first time in eight years coming to “Topsul”, we could actually sit on the main deck and enjoy morning coffee thanks to a large area of shade from the 4th floor deck above!! We ranged in age from one years old to 73 and everyone was happy with their rooms! Dolphins for three mornings❤️. An amazing week! We. Will. Be. Back.

Nice home with great pool area excellent deck furniture good kitchen appliances Sits a little further back from the beach so houses to the left blocked sunrise view The iPod hookup was cool but we couldn39t figure out the sound system for the TVDVD player as a result The only negative is the home to the right which is an eyesore and this was not in the advertising pictures Hard to relax on the beach with the owners running electric sander and saws all day long Other than that we had an enjoyable stay […]

We came into this home because another rental had backed out They accommodated us and things could not have been better We aged from 82 years old to 6 weeks young This home wasn39t a five star accommodation or luxurious This home was fun to be in Everyone of us said it was the best vacation we have ever had It has four floors plenty of space Right on the beach and a great beach for young families Clean and safe The deck space was great We always had someone sitting outside looking at the view Kitchen was great Big roomy and had most anything Should be decluttered but with a little searching we found everything we needed Coffee maker was soso but we are coffee snobs Loved the built in ice maker We loved the pool and volleyball court We loved the different floor plans for sleeping Bathrooms could use towel space and rugs I would put wood pegged coat hangers in each bedroom We rented a grill but there was a weber at the home We were at the beach and enjoying this beautiful spot […]
