Several decks at Beach Chateau look out over the sound. Start the morning with coffee there, catch some afternoon sun, or sit out in the evening after a day on the water. An elevator serves the house.
The beach and the water
Beach Chateau is on LaCosta Place in North Topsail Beach. The nearest beach access is about a tenth of a mile from the house, for swimming, surfing, shell hunting or an afternoon with your toes in the sand. The house has ocean views as well as the sound views from the decks. Guests can also use the community pool when it is open on the community's schedule.
Fishing, kayaking, miniature golf and wildlife viewing are nearby, along with a golf course and a public boat ramp.
Living, kitchen and outdoor spaces
This is a newer house, and inside the rooms are bright and professionally designed. The living area is where the group gathers, whether the plan for the day is the beach or nothing at all. The kitchen has modern appliances, a dishwasher and a coffee maker for cooking real meals at the beach. The grill is outside for the nights nobody wants to stand at the stove. After dinner, the decks are the place for a slower pace and a last look at the sound.
The house also has a washer and dryer, air conditioning, wireless internet and television with satellite or cable service.

Communication with realtor was excellent and they quickly responded to any comments/requests. Location was great, long walk to beach access but I understand a beach access directly across the street is being built. Overall a wonderful week
