Island Dr. 3010 - Anderson's Anchorage

Above the oceanfront great room, a spiral staircase leads up to a tiny crow's nest. From there the view runs from the ocean across to the sound. Take coffee up for sunrise, go back for sunset over the sound, or bring a telescope after dark.

The beach and the water
Anderson's Anchorage is an oceanfront cottage in North Topsail Beach. A private walkway runs from the house straight to the beach. The cottage has three decks, one of them a covered porch, so there is sun or shade for morning coffee, an afternoon nap or a long evening outside with the waves in the background. Fishing, a golf course and a public boat ramp are all nearby.

Inside the cottage
The living spaces are bright and open. The kitchen and dining area have been fully remodeled, with a dishwasher and a coffee maker, ready for cooking fresh local seafood. The great room sits on the ocean side of the house, and it gives everyone a place to gather after the beach. The crow's nest is tucked right above this room, up the spiral staircase.

Where everyone sleeps
Three bedrooms are on the main level, and the fourth bedroom is upstairs on its own.

Each queen room sleeps two, and the room with two double beds sleeps four. There are three full bathrooms and one half bath, and the cottage sleeps 10.

The crow's nest is small and is reached by a spiral staircase.
Pets are not allowed.
Linens and bed making are included.
Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washer and a dryer are in the house.
Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed.
Parking is available.
The house is non-smoking, events are not permitted, and the person renting must be at least 21.

Climb to the crow's nest at sunrise, spend the day on the sand, and come back up the spiral stairs for sunset over the sound.
