A private dock reaches into a quiet canal here, with the Intracoastal just beyond. The ocean beach is nearby. At sunset, the Surf City bridge glows across the water.

The water and the beach
Reported water depth is about 9 feet at the end of the dock, with deeper water in the middle of the canal. The canal is a no-wake zone, so please contact us to confirm your boat is a good fit before you book. A public boat ramp, fishing and golf are all nearby. The house has views of the water and the sound.

Inside and outside
The kitchen is set up for cooking together, with a dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and wine cooler. Wide sliding doors open the house to the outdoors. Downstairs, a second living area has a wet bar and a Murphy bed, and the game room has shuffleboard.

Out back, the yard is fenced and has a firepit. Decks, patios, a porch swing and an outdoor dining area give everyone a place to sit. The enclosed outdoor shower has hot and cold water for rinsing off after the beach. At the very top of the house, the crow's nest is the place to watch sunrise and sunset.

Four bedrooms and two shared sleeping spaces hold up to 12 guests.

Good to know
An elevator serves the house.
Parking fits about eight to ten vehicles, depending on their size.
Pets are not allowed.
The house is non-smoking, events and parties are not permitted, and the person renting must be at least 21.
Linens and bed making are included.
Wi-Fi, cable TV, air conditioning, a washer and a dryer are in the house, and a crib is available.

If your boat fits the canal, bring it. Either way, evenings here end at the firepit or up in the crow's nest, with the Surf City bridge lit across the water.
