Agave Azul brings modern Mexican cooking to NC Hwy 210 in Sneads Ferry, in a bright, colorful room with a separate bar and seating inside and out. The margaritas are hand-made with fresh fruit, and the menu reaches well beyond the usual combination plates.

The hand-made margaritas are the main draw, and the fajitas, mahi tacos and Diablo burrito are the dishes regulars name. When the restaurant is fully staffed, service is friendly and quick; on short-handed nights, check-ins slow and the food is less consistent, and a few guests find the margaritas pricey.
