Topsail Island Surf School
Owner and head instructor Holden Griffeth and his team teach at the Roland Avenue beach access in Surf City, and will come to other Topsail beaches too. Kids’ surf camp runs all summer.
Why guests book
Parents describe instructors who are patient with young and shy kids, including six- and seven-year-olds who stood up on their first lesson. The school also rents boards, chairs and umbrellas, handy for visitors who arrived with nothing. Every instructor is First Aid and CPR certified.
