Throwing Shade Beach Setup
A full canopy camp, set up before you wake. Throwing Shade puts a 10-by-10 tent and two, four or six chairs on the beach by 10 a.m., texts you exactly where it is, and packs it away after 5 p.m.

It’s a newer, family-run service with only a handful of reviews so far, all recent and all positive. Guests mention on-time setups every day of a week-long stay and a crew that came back to reset after a storm. Each canopy is tagged with your name and number, which helps on a crowded summer beach.

Before you book
- Rent by the day, any day of the week, or by the week (six days, usually Sunday to Friday).
- Renters must be 18 or older. Setup covers only gear rented from them.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before setup for a full refund. Severe-weather days are rescheduled or refunded.
- Group, event and extended-stay discounts are available on request.
