A small Surf City outfit built around good shade. Sand 2 Sea delivers Shibumi and Solbello wind-powered canopies, backpack chairs and paddleboards to your door, and rents jet skis on the sound.

Guests describe an easy booking and an owner, Ben, who answers quickly and explains things clearly. The Shibumi and Solbello wind-powered shades are the draw. Gear arrives early on your first morning and is collected on your last day.
What you can book
- Shibumi shadeAbout 150 square feet of shade for groups of three to six.
- Solbello shadeA smaller wind shade for two or three people.
- Chair and shade bundlesA shade plus two to five backpack chairs; tall chairs added in 2026.
- PaddleboardsSound-side SUPs with paddle and life vest, delivered free. Renters must be 18 or older.
- Jet skisSelf-drive skis on the Intracoastal, checked in at Soundside Park in Surf City.

Before you book
- Online booking closes three hours before start for gear and two hours for jet skis.
- Leave gear rinsed where it was delivered by 7 p.m. on your last day, or a retrieval fee applies.
- Cancel more than 24 hours ahead for a refund. Rain at rental time means a refund or new date.
- Jet skis need a renter 18 or older and a refundable damage deposit. Age rules for younger drivers are on the company’s policy page.
