Before you book

  • Ask whether the provider’s blanket captain or blanket vessel fishing license covers your trip. A USCG captain credential alone does not establish that coverage; people 16 and older generally need their own coastal recreational fishing license unless covered by an exemption.
  • A deposit reserves your date. Refunds up to 14 days out; inside that, the deposit can move to a new date. Weather cancellations are refunded.
  • Bring your own food and drinks; no aerosol sunscreen. The mate works for tips.
  • Parking at the home port is limited, so carpool.
