Polar Ice Wilmington

Ice skating in July is a fun way to beat the heat. Polar Ice is the area’s only ice rink, with public skating sessions every day and push-along skate aids for little ones.
Why families go
Locals and visitors are glad to have it, and they call the public skate price a good deal. The building is a working hockey rink, and some find it a little dated. For families from hotter climates, gliding around cold ice is a memorable change of pace on a sweltering beach week. Public-skate windows are limited, so check the calendar before you go.
