Pelican’s SnoBalls — Surf City
Pelican’s SnoBalls serves New Orleans-style shaved ice, finer and softer than a snow cone, from a seasonal stand on New River Drive. With more than 100 flavors and an option to stuff it with cream, it’s an easy afternoon treat after the beach.
What stands out
Order it with cream: a vanilla snocream filling with a marshmallow topping is a favorite in reviews, and Shark Attack is a popular flavor. There’s little seating, so it’s grab and go. One recent visitor was surprised that toppings shown on the board cost extra, so ask as you order.
