Before you book

  • Ask whether the provider’s blanket captain or blanket vessel fishing license covers your trip. A USCG captain credential alone does not establish that coverage; people 16 and older generally need their own coastal recreational fishing license unless covered by an exemption.
  • Up to six guests on a 31-foot Cape Horn with a porta-potty.

  • No glass and no spray sunscreen on board. The mate works for tips.
